Tennessee also known as the “Volunteer State” is a state  with location in the southeastern region of the United States. With 42,143 sq. mi. or (109,247 km2) to be exact, it’s the 36th largest state of the 50 United States. Tennessee was admitted to the Union as the 16th state in 1796.

The state of Tennessee is divided into three Grand Divisions: East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and West Tennessee.

Tennessee’s major industries include agriculture, tourism and manufacturing. State’s primary agricultural products are poultry, soybeans, and cattle. While it’s major manufacturing exports are electrical equipment, chemicals and transportation equipment.

A few other major exports are electrical power, textiles, cotton and cattle. With over 82,000 farms, from which about 59% accommodate cattle, no wonder why you can see a livestock truck loaded with cattle on a daily bases!

Furthermore you can visit some of their other popular places like the Memphis Zoo, and the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. Or perhaps you can visit one of their caves! They have over 10,000 of them! Of course we can’t forget Jack Daniels in Lynchburg either!

Same like they have a lot of transportation companies in Tennessee, they have and lots of highways too! To give you the idea, here is just a hand full of the main highways:
